Through imagination we learn to solve problems and through problem solving we recognize our strengths and superhero selves. An imaginative child is an empowered child!

When my children were young imaginative play and creativity were paramount in our home. Fort building with blankets, dress-up play, music, and storytime cuddles were a fixture in our daily and nighttime routines. I sewed costumes and collected creative play toys for my children and they loved to role-play as the hero and heroine. Through love, stories, and childhood play they grew to be strong and confident adults and I am profoundly proud of the two super people they’ve become.

In 2011, I created the first Super Blanky® products for my nieces and nephew in order to give them the gifts of imagination, comfort, and empowerment. They loved their superhero blankets, and friends and family wanted them too. Soon I began to make and sell my products by hand, eventually moved to large scale manufacturing, and I’ve been imagining super things ever since!
